Grape Varieties: 60% Zweigelt 30% Merlot 10% Blaufränkisch

Alcohol: 13 Vol%     Sugar: 1 g/l sugar     Acidity: 5,1 g/l acidity

Soil: Lime stone and clay

Temperature: 14 – 16°C

Food-Wine-Tipp: Dark meat, grilled steaks, pasta with tomatoes.

Vinification: The grapes were handpicked at high ripeness with moderate alcohol levels. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel vats. After the malolactic the wine was aged in French oak for 18 month.

At the center a very strong ruby red colour, with a heavy smell of cherries and dark berries. Dry, strong-juicy taste with enormous thickness. Smooth tannins, a balanced structure with a good length.
