VB03 = Vin Biologique 03, it is the third trial made by Elemart Robion to produce a pure organic biological champagne in a land where the climate is sometimes requiring a lot of interventions in vineyard to preserve the stability of the production.
This elegant Champagne comes from 25-50 year old densely-planted vines (9,000 vines/ha) treated naturally and grown in the town of Lhéry, in the Valley de l'Ardre, which is in the western part of the Marne Valley, on southwest-facing complex soils composed of clay, limestone, sand and chalk. Hand-harvested, the grapes are fermented for 2 weeks in stainless, then undergo a slow malo for around a month.
